## Biography

Martha Mitchell is an American television director. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, she graduated from Barnard College and began her career in film and television production.

She worked as a script supervisor on numerous films and on episodes of *Law & Order* from 1990 to 1996, as well as the pilot of *New York Undercover*. Mitchell made her directing debut in 1994 with an episode of *Law & Order* and has since directed episodes of many series, including *House* (2004), *Veronica Mars* (2004), *The Mentalist*, *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit*, *NCIS*, *Blindspot* and *Chicago Med*.

A member of the Directors Guild of America since 1994, she has served on the Eastern Directors Council and the National Board.
