Martha Vickers, born Martha MacVicar, was an American actress and model. She made her screen debut in uncredited roles, including in *Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man* (1943) and *The Mummy's Ghost* (1944), initially credited under her birth name.

Vickers achieved her breakthrough as Carmen Sternwood in *The Big Sleep* (1946). Subsequent film roles included *The Man I Love* (1946), *Ruthless* (1948) and *The Burglar* (1957). She also appeared in television, notably as Sheila Hayes in *Perry Mason* (1957).
