## Biography

Martin Ahlgren is a Swedish cinematographer. Born in Scotland to Swedish parents, he grew up in Stockholm and later studied cinematography at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.

He began his career in commercials and music videos before moving into features and television. His credits include the series *House of Cards* (2013), *Daredevil* (2016), *Altered Carbon* (2018), *The Plot Against America* (2020) and *3 Body Problem* (2024), as well as the feature *The Sunlit Night* (2019). Ahlgren joined the American Society of Cinematographers in 2020 and has received Emmy nominations for his work on *House of Cards*, *The Plot Against America* and *3 Body Problem*.
