Martin Hall is a British television writer. Born in 1940 in Birmingham, he contributed scripts to a number of police and crime series during the 1960s and 1970s.

His writing credits include episodes of *Strange Report* (1969), *Codename* (1970), *The Doctors* (1970) and *Paul Temple* (1971, sometimes credited as David Simon). He wrote one episode of *The Sweeney* in 1975 and seven episodes of *Nobody's House* in 1976. Hall also worked as a script editor on series including *The Gold Robbers* (1969), *Paul Temple* (1970–1971) and *Perils of Pendragon* (1974).
