## Biography

Martin Hawkins is a British cinematographer and lighting designer. He began his career in the post room at London Weekend Television before training as a cameraman and working on comedy and drama productions.

He has served as director of photography or lighting designer on numerous British television comedies, including *Garth Marenghi's Darkplace* (2004), *Outnumbered* (2007–2024), *After Life* (2019–2022), *Two Doors Down* (2022–2023) and *Spitting Image* (2021). His feature film credits include *What We Did on Our Holiday* (2014) and *Mrs. Brown's Boys D'Movie* (2014).

In recognition of his contributions to television, Hawkins received a Royal Television Society Lifetime Achievement Award.
