## Biography

Martin McGrath is an Australian cinematographer and member of the Australian Cinematographers Society. He trained at RMIT and began his feature career as director of photography on *Proof* (1991), directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse.

McGrath shot *Muriel's Wedding* (1994), directed by P. J. Hogan. His other credits include *Ride Like a Girl* (2019), *Young Rock* (2021–2023) and *Five Blind Dates* (2024). He won an AFI Award for *Passion* (1999) and has received multiple AFI/AACTA and ACS nominations. He is married to actress Heather Mitchell.
