## Biography

Martin Nicholson is a film and television editor. He is credited as editor on three episodes of the HBO series *Deadwood* (2006) and on the follow-up film *Deadwood: The Movie* (2019), for which he received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Limited Series or Movie.

Nicholson has edited episodes of several other series, including *Game of Thrones* (2011), *Marco Polo* (2014), *The Alienist* (2018), *Project Blue Book* (2019–2020), *1883* (2021) and *A Small Light* (2023). Earlier in his career he worked in sound editing on feature films such as *Top Gun* (1986) and *Beverly Hills Cop II* (1987), and held associate editor and other editorial department roles.
