## Biography

Martin Woodhouse (1932–2011) was a British television scriptwriter and author. He wrote seven episodes of the series *The Avengers* between 1962 and 1965, including "A Chorus of Frogs", "Mr. Teddy Bear", "The Golden Eggs", "The Big Thinker", "Second Sight", "The Wringer" and "A Sense of History".

He also contributed scripts to *Supercar* (in partnership with his brother Hugh Woodhouse), *Emerald Soup*, *The Protectors*, *The Hidden Truth* and *The Man in Room 17*. Woodhouse authored or co-authored eleven novels, among them the techno-thriller Giles Yeoman series beginning with *Tree Frog* (1966).
