## Biography

Martine Beswick is a Jamaican-born British actress and model. Born Mary Rose Penso Beswick on 26 September 1941 in Port Antonio, Jamaica, she moved to London with her family in 1954. She is also credited as Martine Beswicke.

Beswick appeared in two James Bond films, playing Zora in *From Russia with Love* (1963) and Paula Caplan in *Thunderball* (1965). Other film roles include Nupondi in *One Million Years B.C.* (1966) and Adelita in *A Bullet for the General* (1967). She was married to actor John Richardson from 1967 to 1973. In 2019 she was inducted into the Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards' Monster Kid Hall of Fame.
