## Biography

Marvin Kupfer is an American television writer and producer. He contributed story, teleplay and writing credits to three episodes of *Miami Vice* between 1985 and 1987, including "Bought and Paid For", "Killshot" and "Duty and Honor". He also wrote a story for an episode of *Kojak* in 1977.

Kupfer wrote multiple episodes for *Matlock* (1987–1990) and *Hunter* (1989–1990), and contributed to series including *The Streets of San Francisco*, *The Paper Chase*, *Leg Work*, *Crime Story*, *FBI: The Untold Stories* and *Silk Stalkings*. He served as producer or supervising producer on *Hunter*, *Leg Work* and *Crime Story*. In 1974 he directed and produced the short film *Wednesday*.
