Mary Ann Kasica was a television writer, story editor and occasional actress. She wrote episodes of series including *Hart to Hart* (1979), *Magnum, P.I.* (1980), *Murder, She Wrote* (1984), *Moonlighting* (1985), *Matlock* (1986) and *Time Trax* (1993). She also contributed teleplays and stories to *Darkroom*, *Hotel*, *Crazy Like a Fox*, *Shadow Chasers* and *The Colbys*.

Kasica served as story editor on *Hart to Hart* and *Tucker's Witch*. She co-wrote several episodes with her husband, writer Michael Scheff. Earlier in her career she appeared in small acting roles in series such as *The Six Million Dollar Man* and *The Amazing Spider-Man*.

She was born on 26 August 1940 in New Jersey, USA, and died on 5 September 1998 in Los Angeles, California.
