Mary Ellen Batten was a Canadian actress. She was born on 3 March 1923 in St. Catharines, Ontario, and died in March 2015 in California.

She appeared in numerous uncredited roles in Hollywood films of the 1950s, including Chorus Girl in *Gentlemen Prefer Blondes* (1953) and Spectator in *The Country Girl* (1954). Other credits include *Money from Home* (1953), *The Adventures of Hajji Baba* (1954), *Strategic Air Command* (1955) and *Around the World in 80 Days* (1956). She also had an uncredited role in an episode of *The Twilight Zone* (1962).

On stage, she performed as one of the Singing Girls in a production of the musical *Annie Get Your Gun* at the Greek Theater in Griffith Park, Los Angeles. She was one of the human chandeliers in the 'Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend' number in *Gentlemen Prefer Blondes*.
