Born on 3 March 1961 in Monterey Park, California, she trained at the University of Maryland and the Boston Conservatory of Music before beginning her career in musical theatre and moving into television. She first appeared in the daytime soap operas *Ryan's Hope* (1982–83) and *Another World* (1983–85). Keller later starred in the Fox sitcom *Duet* (1987–89) and its spin-off *Open House* (1989–90), as well as other series including *Baby Talk*, *Camp Wilder* and *Joe's Life*. She has made numerous guest appearances, including roles in *Supernatural*, *Criminal Minds*, *Grimm* (as Dr. Higgins), *Pretty Little Liars*, *NCIS*, *Castle*, *24*, *Mad Men* and *CSI: Crime Scene Investigation*. In film she appeared in *The Negotiator* (1998) and *Beginners* (2010). From 2014 to 2015 she starred in the series *Chasing Life*.
