## Biography

Maryam d'Abo is an English actress. She trained at Drama Centre London after deciding on an acting career at the age of eleven.

She made her screen debut in *Xtro* (1982) and appeared in *White Nights* (1985) before starring as Kara Milovy opposite Timothy Dalton in the James Bond film *The Living Daylights* (1987). Other credits include *Tales from the Crypt* (1989), *The Prince & Me 2: The Royal Wedding* (2006) and *Dorian Gray* (2009).

In 2003 she married director Hugh Hudson; the marriage lasted until his death in 2023. She produced and appeared in the 2002 documentary *Bond Girls Are Forever*.
