## Biography

Masatsugu Hashimoto worked in Japanese film production, primarily at Daiei, as a production designer, production manager and producer. He is credited as production designer on *Ugetsu* (1953). He also served as executive in charge of production on *Chikamatsu Monogatari* (1954) and *The Woman in the Rumor* (1954), and as production manager on several other films including *An Osaka Story* (1957) and *Ninja, a Band of Assassins* (1962). Later credits include producer roles on titles such as *Shichinin no onna suri* (1958).
