Masayoshi Sukita is a Japanese photographer, cinematographer and director. He was born on 5 May 1938 in Nōgata-shi.

Sukita served as cinematographer on Hirokazu Kore-eda’s *After Life* (1998), sharing the role with Yutaka Yamazaki. He also worked as still photographer on Jim Jarmusch’s *Mystery Train* (1989) and as cinematographer on *Throw Away Your Books, Rally in the Streets* (1971).

As a director he is credited on the video *Gakidama* (1985) and a segment of *Suki* (2000). He is widely known for his long-term photographic work with musicians including David Bowie.
