Massimo Girotti was an Italian film actor. He was born on 18 May 1918 in Mogliano, Macerata, and died on 5 January 2003 in Rome.

Girotti made his screen debut in Dora Nelson (1939). He appeared in La corona di ferro (1941) and Un pilota ritorna (1942) before playing Gino Costa in Luchino Visconti's Ossessione (1943). Later credits include Senso (1954), Teorema (1968), Ultimo tango a Parigi (1972), Il mostro (1994) and La finestra di fronte (2003).
