Mataichirô Yamamoto (also known as Mata Yamamoto) is a Japanese film producer and screenwriter. Born on 25 October 1947 in Kagoshima Prefecture, he began working in the industry in the early 1970s after a period in manga publishing and management. He has produced numerous films, often under the pseudonym Rikiya Mizushima for screenwriting credits.

Yamamoto produced *Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters* (1985) alongside Tom Luddy. His other credits include *Golgo 13: The Professional* (1983), *Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust* (2001), the *Azumi* films (2003–2005), the *Crows Zero* series (2007–2014), *Cyborg She* (2008) and *Lupin the 3rd* (2014). In 1993 he founded Tristone Entertainment, where he served as representative director before becoming chairman.
