Mats Bergman is a Swedish actor. He was born on 5 May 1948 in Gothenburg and graduated from the Swedish National Academy of Mime and Acting in Stockholm in 1971.

Since 1987 he has been a member of the ensemble at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm, and has also performed at the Stockholm City Theatre and Norrbottensteatern. He is the son of director Ingmar Bergman and Ellen Lundström, and the twin brother of actress Anna Bergman.

Bergman is known for his film and television roles, including Aron Retzinsky in *Fanny and Alexander* (1982), Bruno Anderhage in *The Accidental Golfer* (1991) and its sequel *The Health Journey* (1999), Melander in *Evil* (2003), and Nyberg in the *Wallander* series (2005–2013).
