## Biography

Matt Braly is an American animator, storyboard artist, writer and director. He graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a BFA in character animation and began his career with work at DreamWorks Animation before joining Disney Television Animation.

Braly worked as a storyboard artist and director on the Disney XD series *Gravity Falls* (2012–2016), for which he received an Annie Award in 2016 for directing the episode "Northwest Mansion Mystery". He contributed as a writer and storyboard artist to *Steven Universe* (2014) and directed episodes of *Big City Greens* (2018). He is best known as the creator and executive producer of the Disney Channel series *Amphibia* (2019–2022).
