## Biography

Matt Flynn is a production designer and art director working primarily in American television. He served as art director on the first season of the NBC series *The Good Place* (2016–2017) and as production designer on its second season (2017–2018).

Earlier credits include art director on seasons 2–7 of *The Office* (2005–2011) and production designer on seasons 8–9 (2011–2013), as well as work on *Superstore* and *Just Shoot Me!*. He has a background in theatre design, having worked as resident set designer at the Contra Costa Civic Theatre in California for ten years across more than fifty productions.

Flynn holds a Master of Arts degree in scenic design from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in architecture from California College of the Arts. He was born in Berkeley, California.
