Matt Kriete, also credited as Matthew Kriete, is an American television writer. He grew up in Indialantic, Florida, and graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in English.

He began working in television as a script coordinator and writer's assistant on series including *Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp* (2015) and *Childrens Hospital*. His writing credits include episodes of *Mozart in the Jungle* (2014 and 2018), *Search Party* (2016–2022), where he also served as story editor, and *Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later* (2017).
