Matt Lauria is an American actor and musician. He graduated with a BFA in drama from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.

Lauria made his television debut in an episode of *30 Rock* in 2007. He is best known for his role as Luke Cafferty in the final two seasons of *Friday Night Lights* (2009–2011), as Ryan York in *Parenthood* (2012–2015) and as Ryan Wheeler in *Kingdom* (2014–2017). He has also appeared in *CSI: Vegas* (2021–2024) and other television series and films.

He has been married to musician Michelle Armstrong since 2006.
