Matt Meech is a British editor and director. He was born on 17 March 1976 in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.

He began his career as a runner at a post-production house in Soho before becoming an assistant editor. He later moved to Bristol, where he worked on a feature for Aardman Animations and entered natural history programming, starting with *The Really Wild Show*.

Meech is known for his editing on BBC and Netflix natural history series, including one episode of *Planet Earth II* (2016), two episodes of *Blue Planet II* (2017), two episodes of *Our Planet* (2019), and one episode of *Frozen Planet II* (2022). He also served as co-director and editor on *Surviving Paradise: A Family Tale* (2022). His work has earned a Primetime Emmy nomination and multiple BAFTA nominations.
