## Biography

Matt Michnovetz is a writer and producer. He began working on the television series *24* as a producer's assistant for the first three seasons and later contributed as a writer and story editor on multiple episodes from 2005 to 2007. He graduated from Emerson College in Boston and is based in Los Angeles.

Michnovetz has written extensively for the *Star Wars* franchise. He served as head writer for seasons six and seven of *Star Wars: The Clone Wars* (2008) and contributed episodes to *Star Wars Rebels* (2014), *Star Wars: The Bad Batch* (2021) as story editor, *Star Wars: Tales of the Empire* (2024) and *Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld* (2025). He also wrote for the upcoming *Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord* (2026).

His other credits include the story for the video game *Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order* (2019), for which he received a BAFTA nomination, and the independent feature *Thumper* (2017), which he co-wrote and executive produced.
