Matt Murray is an American television writer and producer. He began his career as a writer on *Saturday Night Live* in the early 2000s before contributing episodes to *Community* (2009) and *Parks and Recreation* (2009).

Murray has written for *Brooklyn Nine-Nine* (2013), *The Good Place* (2016), *Girls5eva* (2021), *Loot* (2022) and other series. He co-created the NBC sitcom *Sunnyside* (2019). He shared a Primetime Emmy Award for his work on *Saturday Night Live* and received a Writers Guild of America nomination for *Parks and Recreation*.
