## Biography

Matt Noonan is a New Zealand producer and the founder of Curious Film, established in 1999. He began his career at the age of 17 as an assistant editor on Peter Jackson's *Bad Taste* (1987).

Noonan has produced or executive-produced several features, including *Hunt for the Wilderpeople* (2016), *Fantail* (2013), *Only Cloud Knows* (2019) and *Turbo Kid* (2015). He has also worked as line producer on *The Royal Treatment* (2022) and *Don't Make Me Go* (2022). His productions have screened at festivals including Sundance, Cannes and SXSW, and *Hunt for the Wilderpeople* won Best Film at the 2017 Rialto Channel New Zealand Film Awards.
