## Biography

Matt Okumura is an American television writer and producer. He wrote the episode "Fever" for the second season of *Smallville* in 2003.

He has worked as a writer, story editor and executive story editor on *Star Trek: Picard* (2020–2023), and as a writer and story editor on *Leverage: Redemption* (2021) and *Blood & Treasure* (2019–2022). Okumura contributed to *Interior Chinatown* (2024) as a writer and producer. He is a writer on the upcoming series *VisionQuest* (2026), on which he also serves as supervising producer.

Okumura graduated from the University of Southern California.
