## Biography

Matt Robertson is a British-born, Canadian-based composer, producer and musical director. He graduated with a BMus (Hons) Tonmeister from the University of Surrey in 2000 and has worked extensively as a musical director and arranger for artists including Björk, Anohni, Arca and The Cinematic Orchestra.

Robertson has composed original scores for the documentaries *Navalny* (2022, co-composed with Marius de Vries and Anna Drubich) and *The New Corporation: The Unfortunately Necessary Sequel* (2020), as well as the feature *Bad Genius* (2024, co-composed with de Vries). He co-composed the score for *The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist* (2026) with de Vries. He has released several solo albums and received Grammy nominations for his production and engineering work with Anoushka Shankar.
