## Biography

Matthew Button is a British production designer and art director. Born on 6 August 1970 in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, he began his career in the art department, working as a props dresser on *Lara Croft: Tomb Raider* (2001) and later contributing to films including *Ready Player One* (2018, as Matt Button).

He is known for his production design on *Loving Vincent* (2017), *A Lonely Place to Die* (2011), *Cockneys vs Zombies* (2012), *Final Score* (2018), *Slaughterhouse Rulez* (2018) and the series *Criminal Record* (2024). Button has received a BAFTA nomination along with three wins and six nominations in total. He has also served as Head of Production Design at the London Film School.
