## Biography

Matthew Chauncey is an American screenwriter and producer. He began his television career as a production assistant on the ABC series *Agent Carter* (2015–2016) and later worked as a staff writer on the animated series *3Below: Tales of Arcadia* (2018–2019).

Chauncey joined Marvel Studios as a story editor on the first season of the animated anthology series *What If...?* (2021), for which he also received writing, story and teleplay credits. He contributed teleplays to the miniseries *Ms. Marvel* (2022) and additional literary material to the feature films *Thor: Love and Thunder* (2022) and *The Fantastic Four: First Steps* (2025). He has served as a consulting producer on *Ms. Marvel* and *Eyes of Wakanda* (2025), and as a writer and executive producer on *X-Men '97*.

In 2022 he created and executive-produced the podcast series *Self Center*.
