Matthew D'Ambrosio is an American television writer. He began working in production roles on *The Vampire Diaries* (2009) from 2010, later serving as script coordinator, writers' assistant and researcher before becoming a staff writer and credited writer on episodes from season five onwards.

His writing credits on the series include the episodes *Man on Fire* (2014) and *We Have History Together* (2017), with story credits on *I Could Never Love Like That* (2015) and *Somebody That I Used to Know* (2016). He has also worked as script coordinator on *The Umbrella Academy* (2019).

D'Ambrosio joined *The Witcher* (2019) as script coordinator and later wrote episodes including *Dear Friend...* (2021) and *Out of the Fire, Into the Frying Pan* (2023), serving as staff writer and executive story editor.
