Matthew G. Taylor is a Canadian actor. He is best known for playing Nemesis in the 2004 film *Resident Evil: Apocalypse*. He has also appeared in *Cinderella Man* (2005) as Primo Carnera, *Pacific Rim* (2013) as a member of the Saltchuck Crew, *Immortals* (2011) as Mondragon, and *Gothika* (2003) as Turlington, as well as in television series including *See* (2019) as Maddox and *The Umbrella Academy* (2019) as Guardian #2.

Taylor grew up in a Toronto suburb and graduated from college in Hamilton, Ontario, in 1994. Before entering the film and television industry in 1996, he worked as a police officer. He has also studied martial arts for many years.
