## Biography

Matthew George is an Australian film producer, director and screenwriter. He wrote and directed his debut feature *Under the Gun* (1995) at the age of 21 and followed it with *Four Jacks* (2001) and *Let's Get Skase* (2001).

George is a founder and partner of Acacia Entertainment. He produced and financed several American films, including *LBJ* (2016), *Wind River* (2017), *Shock and Awe* (2017), *A Private War* (2018) and *The Secret: Dare to Dream* (2020). He served as president of Castle Rock Entertainment from 2021 to 2025.
