## Biography

Matthew Gray is a British film and television editor. He studied philosophy of film at Leeds University and began his career as a runner at Yorkshire Television, where he gained editing experience over two or three years before going freelance.

He has worked extensively with director Shane Meadows at Warp Films, editing *This Is England ’90* (2015) and *The Virtues* (2019). His other credits include *The Responder* (2022), *Bad Sisters* (2022) and *A Spy Among Friends* (2022). He has received one win and three nominations for his editing work.
