## Biography

Matthew Hamachek is a documentary film editor, producer and writer who has also directed television series. He began his career working with director Marshall Curry on *Street Fight* (2005) and went on to collaborate with him again on *Racing Dreams* (2009) and *If a Tree Falls: A Story of the Earth Liberation Front* (2011).

Hamachek edited *Cartel Land* (2015), *Amanda Knox* (2016), *City of Ghosts* (2017) and *Console Wars* (2020). He also served as writer or co-writer on several of these projects and has produced or co-produced multiple documentaries. In 2021 he directed the series *Tiger* and in 2024 he directed *The Dynasty: New England Patriots*.
