Matthew Herbert is a British composer and electronic musician. Born in 1972 in England, he has scored numerous films and television series, including *The Responder* (2022).

His film work includes *A Fantastic Woman* (2017), *Disobedience* (2018), *Gloria Bell* (2019), *The Wonder* (2022) and *Starve Acre* (2024). He has collaborated repeatedly with director Sebastián Lelio and also composed for series such as *Temple* (2019–2021) and *Noughts + Crosses* (2020).
