Matthew Lau is an American television writer and producer. He began his career as a staff writer on *Vanished* (2006) and contributed a story to an episode of *CSI: NY* (2005).

Lau worked as a story editor and writer on *Chuck* (2007), with three writing credits between 2008 and 2009. He later served as executive story editor and writer on *Covert Affairs* (2010).
