## Biography

Matthew Lewis is a British cinematographer. He is known for his work on one-shot films and series, including the feature *Boiling Point* (2021) and the Netflix limited series *Adolescence* (2025), both directed by Philip Barantini.

A graduate of Portsmouth University, Lewis shot *Boiling Point* at the age of 23. He has also served as director of photography on *Villain* (2020), *The Responder* (2022) and *Accused* (2023).

Lewis won the BAFTA for Best Cinematography for *Boiling Point* and the 2025 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for episode 2 of *Adolescence*.
