Matthew Margeson is an American composer of film, television and video game scores. He was born on 9 June 1980 in Brick Township, New Jersey, and trained at Berklee College of Music.

He is a member of Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions and has frequently collaborated with composer Henry Jackman. Margeson received his first main composer credits in 2010. He co-composed the score for *Kick-Ass 2* (2013) with Jackman and went on to score *Kingsman: The Secret Service* (2014), *Eddie the Eagle* (2016), *Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children* (2016), *Kingsman: The Golden Circle* (2017), *Truth or Dare* (2018) and *Rocketman* (2019), among other films.
