Matthew McLoota is an American television director and assistant director. He was born on 24 April 1981 in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

McLoota began his career as a second assistant director and first assistant director on numerous films and series, including *The Darjeeling Limited* (2007), *My Soul to Take* (2010), *Elementary* (2012–2014) and early episodes of *The Blacklist* (2014–2015). He later directed episodes of *Billions* (four episodes, 2019–2021), *The Blacklist* (four episodes, 2021–2023), *FBI* (2022) and *S.W.A.T.* (2025).
