## Biography

Matthias Königswieser is an Austrian cinematographer. Born in Vienna in 1981, he studied at the Academy of Art in San Francisco from 2001 to 2005. He began working as a director of photography on features after earlier camera assisting and short films, with his first credited feature-length project the 2010 television film *Santa Cruz*.

Königswieser has maintained a long collaboration with director Marc Forster. Their joint credits include *All I See Is You* (2017), *Christopher Robin* (2018), *A Man Called Otto* (2022) and *White Bird* (2023). He is also known for *After the Fall* (2014) and *Perfect* (2019). He is a member of the Austrian Association of Cinematographers (AAC).
