Maurizio Lucidi (1932–2005) was an Italian film director, screenwriter and editor, sometimes credited as Maurice A. Bright or Mark Lander. Born in Florence, he began his career as a film editor in the early 1960s and worked as assistant director for Pier Paolo Pasolini on *The Gospel According to St. Matthew* (1965).

Lucidi made his directorial debut with *Hercules the Avenger* (1965, as Maurice A. Bright). He directed numerous genre films, particularly spaghetti westerns such as *My Name Is Pecos* (1966), *Pecos Cleans Up* (1967) and *It Can Be Done Amigo* (1972). He also edited *Don Quixote* (1992).
