## Biography

Max Hurwitz is a television writer and producer. Early credits include staff writer on the series *Birnkrant 616* (2006) and writer on the shorts *Getaway* (2007) and *Passed Over* (2009). He also wrote and produced on *Simply Plimpton* (2010).

Hurwitz served as staff writer and script coordinator on the AMC series *Hell on Wheels* (2011–2016), receiving writing credits on multiple episodes. Subsequent writing work includes episodes of *Manhunt* (2017), *ZeroZeroZero* (2020), *El Candidato* (2020), *Django* (2023) and *Dark Winds* (2022–). He wrote the screenplay for the film *The Titan* (2018) and has held producing roles on several of these projects.
