Max Werner is a writer and producer. He served as a writer on the comedy series *The Colbert Report* from 2009 to 2014.

His other credits include writing an episode of *Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt* (2017), teleplay and story work on *Red Oaks* (2015–2016), the screenplay for the film *Fun Size* (2012), and writing *Ode to Joy* (2019).
