## Biography

Maxim Alexander Baldry is an English actor. Born on 5 January 1996 in Redhill, Surrey, he spent his early childhood in Moscow and Warsaw before returning to England. He trained at Jackie Palmer Stage School and was a member of the National Youth Theatre.

Baldry began his career as a child actor, playing Stepan in *Mr. Bean's Holiday* (2007) and Caesarion in *Rome* (2007). Later roles include appearances in *Skins* (2013), Liam Donovan in the soap opera *Hollyoaks* (2016–2017), Viktor Goraya in the miniseries *Years and Years* (2019), Ed in *Last Christmas* (2019), Dr John Polidori in *Doctor Who* (2020), and Isildur in *The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power* (2022–present).
