Maxwell Perry Cotton is an American actor. Born on 7 May 2000 in San Diego, California, he began acting at the age of six.

He is known for playing Cooper Whedon in the television series *Brothers & Sisters* (2006–2011) and for film roles including Billy in *Mr. Popper's Penguins* (2011), Joey Campbell in *Like Dandelion Dust* (2009), Young Max in *Elysium* (2013) and Keeler's Son in *Gangster Squad* (2013). He is the older brother of actor Mason Vale Cotton.
