Maya Bankovic is a Canadian cinematographer. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production from York University and is a full member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers.

Her feature credits include *Blue Heron* (2025), for which she received a cinematography award at the Zsigmond Vilmos International Film Festival; *Ordinary Angels* (2024); and *Akilla's Escape* (2021), which earned her the Canadian Screen Award for Achievement in Cinematography. Television work includes *Star Trek: Strange New Worlds*, *Mayor of Kingstown* and *Workin' Moms*. She began in documentary and experimental filmmaking.
