Maya Erskine is an American actress and writer. She graduated from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and studied theatre at New York University Tisch School of the Arts.

She is known for co-creating, co-writing and starring as Maya Ishii-Peters in the Hulu series *PEN15* (2019–2021). Erskine has appeared as Diane Nakamura in *Insecure* (2016–2017), as Mizu (voice) in *Blue Eye Samurai* (2023) and as Jane Smith in *Mr. & Mrs. Smith* (2024). She is also credited as Mrs. McKeel (voice) in the film *Wildwood* (2026).
