## Biography

Megan Stark Evans is a costume designer whose credits include *Sound of Metal* (2019), *Uncle Frank* (2020), *Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile* (2019), *A Teacher* (2020), *Suncoast* (2024) and *Somewhere in Queens* (2022). She has also worked as assistant costume designer on *Nerve* (2016) and in the costume department on *Insidious* (2010) and *TRON: Legacy* (2010).

In interviews about *Sound of Metal*, Evans has discussed drawing on her background in the hardcore punk and metal scene to design the wardrobe for the central characters, including sourcing band T-shirts and working with the director on the evolution of the costumes as the story progresses.
